Housekeeping Supervisor Hands-On - Hotel NH Zandvoort

As a Housekeeping Hands-On Supervisor at NH Zandvoort, you make sure the housekeeping team can do their best work every day.

This is not a job where you spend the whole day behind a desk. You work together with the team, help where needed and keep an eye on quality, planning and progress.

You will, among other things:

• Start up and guide the housekeeping team during the shift
• Divide tasks and make sure everyone knows what needs to be done
• Work alongside the team cleaning and preparing hotel rooms
• Check rooms and public areas to make sure our quality standards are met
• Support and motivate colleagues during busy moments
• Help new employees get started and feel welcome
• Keep an overview of the daily planning and communicate with the Housekeeping Manager when needed

Work Schedule:

• 30–35 hours per week,
• 5 days a week and at least two weekends per month.
• There are two possible shifts:
  09:00 – 16:30
  11:00 – 18:00

• Gross hourly salary starting from €16.70, depending on your work experience*
• Salary paid every 4 weeks, so 13 payments per year
• Travel allowance from 20 kilometres per day of €0.14 per kilometre
• 8% holiday allowance, paid in May
• 10% accrual of holiday hours and a 5% year-end bonus
• 26 vacation days based on a full-time contract, plus an extra day off on your birthday
• A 7-month contract with a 1-month probation period, with the intention to extend

• A workplace at the beach in Zandvoort
• A bus stop directly in front of the hotel and Zandvoort train station around a 10-minute walk away

*Gross hourly salary from age 20

• Have previous housekeeping experience
• Have experience taking responsibility within a team, or is ready for the next step towards supervision
• Enjoy working together with the team and not afraid to roll up your sleeves
• Can keep an overview during busy shifts
• Communicate clearly in English and know how to motivate colleagues
• Reliable, flexible and quality-focused
• Available for both shifts and at least two weekends per month
• Live in or near Zandvoort
