Chaouki works at the WTC in The Hague

Every day, Chaouki makes a difference at the WTC The Hague. Discover what hospitality means to him.

Every day, many people gather at the WTC The Hague—from companies and visitors to delivery people. It’s a bustling place where all sorts of things happen. Our colleague Chaouki and his team work together to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

He works here as a foreman and building superintendent. But he actually does much more than that.

“A smile, saying hello to someone, lending a hand. These are small things, but they make a big difference.”

A familiar face in the building

Chaouki has been working at EW for years and is a familiar face at the WTC The Hague. Many people know him.

“Some tenants jokingly call me ‘the manager,’” he says with a laugh. “That’s because I’m always here and I help everyone.”

That personal touch is what makes it special. People feel seen and welcome. And you can sense that right away in the building’s atmosphere.

More Than Just Cleaning

Officially, Chaouki is responsible for keeping the building clean and tidy. But in practice, he does much more than that.

“You can tell when someone needs help. Or when something isn’t right. Then you address it right away.”

He serves as the point of contact, helps his colleagues, and keeps track of everything. As a result, the building remains a pleasant place to work.

That’s important at a location like the WTC The Hague, where work, socializing, and relaxation come together under one roof.

Peace, Attention, and Solutions

What defines Chaouki? His calm demeanor and his work style.

“There’s a solution to every problem. And if it doesn’t work now, it will eventually.”

If something goes wrong—like a broken machine—he finds another way. He just gets right to it and keeps going.

That inspires confidence—not only among colleagues, but also in the client.

Together, we make a difference

At EW, you never work alone. Neither does Chaouki.

“We do it together. We help each other and make sure everything runs smoothly.”

That collaboration creates a pleasant work environment. And people in the building can feel it.

Proud of Your Work

For Chaouki, his job is more than just cleaning.

“You make people feel welcome. You make them enjoy being here. I’m proud of that.”

Is this something for you, too?
