What does your work involve?
As a cleaner, you clean rooms, offices, hallways, and restrooms, for example. This ensures that people can work, relax, or spend time in a clean environment.
You’ll sometimes work independently and sometimes with colleagues. At many locations, you’ll work as part of a permanent team and have designated points of contact.
No two days are exactly the same. One location is quiet, while another is busy and lively. Together, you make sure everything is neat and tidy.
Your duties as a cleaner
Exactly what you do depends on where you work. Your duties often include:
- Vacuuming and mopping
- Cleaning Bathroom Fixtures
- Cleaning rooms or workspaces
- Replenishing Supplies
- Cleaning Up Trash
- Check to make sure everything is neat and clean
Growing in Your Career
Don’t have any experience in cleaning yet? No problem. At EW, you’ll receive training and guidance starting on your first day on the job. You’ll learn the job step by step.
Through the EW Academy, you’ll learn how to work safely, smartly, and enjoyably. You can take training courses and learn new skills. That way, you’ll be able to get to work with confidence.
At EW, you’re not on your own. You work alongside colleagues who help and support one another.
You’ll receive training on-site and know who to turn to with questions. Many colleagues work at a fixed location and know each other well. Together, you create a pleasant work environment.
Would you like to learn more or advance your career? You can do that at EW, too.

Paycheck every 4 weeks
You'll receive your paycheck every 4 weeks. That means 13 payments per year.
Flexible work hours
Work at times that suit you. This makes it easy to balance work with school, college, family, or other activities.
An extra day off on your birthday
Is your birthday on a workday? If so, you get an extra day off. Of course, your birthday deserves to be celebrated properly.
Surcharges
Do you work outside of regular office hours? If so, you may be eligible for additional pay, such as for evening shifts, weekends, or holidays.

You'll receive travel expense reimbursement if you have to travel farther.
