Kitchen Steward / Service Assistant – Holland Casino Amsterdam West

• Gross hourly wage between €15.52 and €17.05 (from age 20, depending on experience)
• 50% extra pay for working weekends and/or public holidays
• 30% extra pay for weekday evening and night hours after 21:30
• Free parking at the location
• A contract of 7 months with intention to extend.
• Salary paid every 4 weeks, so 13 payments per year
• Travel allowance of €0.14 per kilometre if you travel 20 km or more per day
• 8% holiday allowance, 10% holiday hours accrual and a 5% year-end bonus

Holland Casino Amsterdam West is a lively location near Sloterdijk, where everything needs to run smoothly behind the scenes.
As a Kitchen Steward / Service Assistant, you help keep the kitchen and service areas clean, organised and ready for use.

Your daily tasks include:

• Washing dishes, glasses, cutlery and kitchen equipment
• Keeping the dishwashing area clean and organised
• Cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors and equipment
• Moving and organising kitchen supplies and materials
• Supporting the team with other cleaning and service tasks when needed

This is a physically demanding job. You'll spend most of your shift on your feet, moving around, carrying items and working at a steady pace. If you enjoy active work, this could be a great match!

Working hours

You work 25–30 hours per week, with different shifts:

• 13:30–22:00
• 20:00–00:00
• 22:00–05:00

The location operates seven days a week, so you need to be flexible and available for evening, night and weekend shifts.

• Able to travel to Holland Casino Amsterdam West, including for late shifts

Experience in dishwashing or hospitality is a plus, but not required. Your motivation matters most!

Because you'll be working at Holland Casino, there are a few additional requirements:

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You need to provide a Certificate of Conduct (VOG), which we will of course pay for.
• You are happy to complete an additional internal screening by Holland Casino.
