Development and Growth
At EW, you’ll have the opportunity to grow—whether you’re just starting out or already have a lot of experience. We’ll help you continue to develop yourself. We believe it’s important for our colleagues to enjoy their work and have opportunities to advance. That’s why we invest in education, training, and personal guidance.
Your Future, Your Growth
At EW, our motto is: Create your own future.
That means you can take charge of your own future. Want to learn more? Take on a new role? Or take on more responsibility? Then we’ll work together to figure out which steps are right for you. Many of our colleagues started out as cleaners and have gone on to become foremen, site managers, or district managers. Each year, an average of 12.8% of our colleagues advance to a new position.
Working Together to Track Your Progress
Of course, you’re not doing this all on your own. Your manager regularly talks with you about your work and your future. What do you want to learn? What are you good at? And what steps do you want to take? Together, we’ll create a plan that fits your goals and abilities.
Learning Through the Hospitality Academy
Management Development & Internships
At EW, the Hospitality Academy is our in-house training center. Here, you’ll find more than 20 training courses and programs. For example, you’ll learn:
- Cleaning Techniques
- Working with a Welcoming Attitude
- Communicating with colleagues and clients
- Leadership
- Dutch language
- Personal Skills
The training sessions are practical. This means you’ll learn things you can immediately apply in your work.
Would you like to advance to a leadership role? We’d be happy to help you with that, too. For entry-level professionals, we offer Management Traineeships. Here, you’ll learn more about our organization and develop the knowledge and skills you need to lead.
For colleagues who already work at EW, we offer the Management Development Program. This program is designed for employees who want to advance to a position with greater responsibility.
